All of our frankincense products are created using an Extended Distillation time of 30+ hours and pure boswellia sacra (Sacred Frankincense) resin providing a more potent frankincense hydrosol and oil than is normally found on the market. 

“Normal” frankincense distillations last for around 6-8 hours. This amount of time allows the distiller to extract the bulk of the product and keep cost low, but it misses a lot of the good stuff. After finding peer-reviewed research that said the longer the distillation the better the healing properties of the oil, we decided that too much was being left untapped.

So because we aren't normal and we want the best, we tried longer and longer distillations. Our extra work was rewarded with a rich, golden, terpine smelling oil unlike any other frankincense we’ve ever experienced.
